About the Artist
I am an Indonesian artist. My creative journey is shaped by a life lived across diverse cultures, from Thailand and Turkey to my current home in Germany.
Through my art, I invite viewers into a world where culture, nature and imagination intertwine in harmony.
My Art
Painting is a meditative process for me. It is a quest for inner balance and creative clarity, rooted in my experience through the Subud spiritual path.
My works often draw inspiration from nature, abstracted and expressed through rich palettes dominated by greens and blues. I am drawn to that space between recognition and dissolution, where forms may emerge, disappear and invite different ways of seeing.
Rather than imposing a predetermined image, I try to listen to what develops on the canvas, allowing the painting to find its own rhythm and balance.
Ultimately, my paintings are less about representing what we see than exploring what we experience – moments of stillness and movement, darkness and light, nature and inner landscape.
In addition to my abstract explorations, I create intimate portraits of family and friends, using techniques inspired by the Old Masters. I also enjoy crafting besporke works for interior spaces.
